Hey everyone, We've got some electrifying news to share with all of you. We’re absolutely buzzing to announce our collaboration with BBC Radio 6 for the Craig Charles Northern Soul All Nighter! This is all happening as we inch closer to the 50th anniversary of that iconic Northern Soul venue, the Wigan Casino. And guess what? We're going to be right there, in the thick of it all, delivering our soulful tunes on Saturday 9th September.
If you've been tuning into Craig's regular Saturday night Funk and Soul show (which airs from 6pm-9pm, by the way), then you know the kind of musical magic he conjures up. We’re incredibly honoured to be the ten-piece soul house band for this special edition, where music from various generations will come to life.
And if that wasn’t thrilling enough, we’re going to be joined by some outstanding special appearances. We’re talking about legends like Richard Searling from the Wigan Casino and the mesmerising all-female R&B ensemble, The Flirtations.
Among the moments we're eagerly looking forward to during the show, there's Craig’s quest to reveal the rarest Northern Soul record. Have you heard? This record caused quite the ruckus recently when it was sold for a jaw-dropping £100k.
For us and for you, our amazing fans, as well as for everyone who's ever felt the rhythm and pull of Northern Soul, this collaboration marks an unforgettable chapter. It’s a nod to our hard work, our passion, and our position in today's Northern Soul realm.
We honestly couldn’t be more thrilled. Being recognised and having the chance to record in such a prestigious recording studio, the BBC Maida Vale studios. We can't wait to share our signature sound with an even broader audience and feel so privileged to be a part of this monumental event.
